Schillerstrasse, very near the main train station (Hauptbanhof) is basically a row of hotels. The area is very active because of the train station, which also makes it super-convenient for transportation anywhere. The AWA Hotel is a clean and quiet oasis, just what you need after the bustle outside. Beds are really comfortable, slept great. Restaurants are mostly Turkish/Middle-Eastern, noisy but the food is fresh, try Sara restaurant 3 blocks away, terrific. Easy walk to center of town. If you want a quiet, professionally run hotel, in a location that makes everything convenient, this one is for you.

Quite clean and serviceable. Rooms small, so no room for a comfortable chair. Otherwise all good. Staff excellent and very helpful!

Great hotel with excellent location to train station and Marienplatz area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Staff is just wonderful, so courteous and professional. It was a pleasure to stay at the AWA for our family trip to Munich!
